The Libraries of the Expanse
The Architecture of the Story.
I grew up in a culture where a book was a world captured between hardcovers—not a disposable product, but an invitation to a mystery, a challenge to experience and explore. Today, much of the literary landscape feels like a "microwaved meal": pre-packaged, predictable, and designed for easy consumption.
I do not write microwaved meals. My books are home-cooked from scratch. They are uncontained, not prescribed, and entirely free from the "established" schemas of modern publishing. I view each work as a singular piece of art, which inherently contradicts the applicability of traditional rules.
Who Should Enter the Expanse.
My writing style is neither superficial nor simple. I make choices—from the rigorous physics of my worlds to the specific cadence of my prose—with deliberate, calculated purpose. You can rely on the fact that every "risk" I take is a conscious one. And that in itself negates it being a "risk" and makes it a "choice"
You will enjoy these books if:
- You seek mental stimulation. You want to be challenged by a story that respects your intelligence, stimulates your imagination, tempts your curiosity.
- You value the "Individuum" over appearance. I deliberately delay physical descriptions because who a person is matters more than how they look. What a person can do is more important than who they know.
- You enjoy the "Deep Dive." These stories are designed for re-reading. Details that seem quiet in the first book often become the foundation of a later revelation. And I promise you, on a re-read, you discover details you have mised previously.
- You are ready to step outside. My books explore "first and foremost" how things could be different—socially, economically, and philosophically. What it means, for the individuum, the tribe, the world. And what is the premise to make it so.
- You are comfortable with the unexpected. As in life, the unexpected can hit at any time, Individuum you thought you knew behave unpredictable. Concepts you are familiar with are different in the worlds I create. Expect the unexpected, embrace the surprise, prepare to adjust your view.
These books may not be for you if:
- You seek passive entertainment. If you want a "warmed-up" version of familiar tropes or a slight twist on a known construct, I suggest exploring other authors.
- You require immediate schemas. If your reading experience is determined by rigid social, religious, or economic constructs, or you expect a book of a certain genre to follow a given blueprint, you may find the freedom of Boreas uncomfortable.
The Contract with the Reader.
If a choice I make seems daring or unusual, assume a reason. Think about it. I infuse my life experience and world-view into these pages, trusting that you will be motivated to contemplate and explore these ideas alongside me. In my world, books are far more than just written words—they are trajectories.
Boreas' Tribes Saga
The World: A Legacy in the Making
The Boreas’ Tribes Saga is an epic exploration of a world tens of thousands of years in the future. What began as a twenty-year architectural project has evolved into an expansive literary landscape. The series structure includes the main saga, prequels, historical essays, and documented side stories—all designed to be explored, cross-referenced, and lived in. Nerded out about.
The Genre: The Intersection of the Expanse
My work sits at the intersection of Fantasy, Sci-Fi, and Speculative Utopian Fiction, with a dusting of romance where it naturally fits the narrative trajectory. To find a comparison, imagine the mechanical discovery and "hard" systems of Mistborn, but set within a non-dystopian world. It carries the sweeping, multi-generational scope of the Foundation series, but focuses on the era after the dark ages—exploring how we build a future when we have moved beyond a reliance on daily technology.
The Bibliography:
- Xavie of Shamain (Prequel): For Xavie, balance is not a gift, but a struggle. Born in Shamain with developmental delays, his life begins with a pilgrimage that neither he nor his mother could have imagined. In an era where tribes are rising from the ruins of a galactic empire—deliberately abandoning technology for a life of intention—Xavie must discover his true calling. When his world is thrown out of control, he faces the ultimate choice: the life he imagined for himself, or the greater good of the Borean tribes.
- A Discovery of Dragons (Book 1): Loe is a Seedling—part of an 8,000-year-old genetic program designed to re-diversify a world that once ruled the stars. Transitioning from a high-tech installation of droids and holograms into the raw, tech-free reality of Boreas, Loe enters the elite Academe. But as Elders are assassinated and hidden gray figures move in the shadows, she realizes that "balance" is a dangerous pursuit. In a world where dragons are considered folktales, Loe is about to discover that some myths provide more than just "toasty feet."
- A Discovery of Magic (Book 2): The trajectory shifts as Loe’s emerging magic threatens to overwhelm her quiet life. At The Academe, a new student named Palatori struggles to find her place in a society she did not choose to enter. As seemingly random events trace back to a hidden party, a new existential threat emerges: an aggressive Galactic Empire has set its sights on Boreas. It is the first true test for The Guard. Can they defend a low-tech world against a high-tech conqueror? And at what cost?
- A Discovery of Mages (Book 3): The Guard has prevailed, but the price was steep. As the students of The Academe prepare for the grueling "Aryan" test, Loe’s magic reaches a breaking point. To protect those she loves, she prepares to exile herself—until a plan begins to form. The threat in the shadows remains, but as the second year at the Academe closes, the true identity of the Borean Mages is finally coming to light.
The Vision.
The Boreas’ Tribes Saga is written in multiple first-person POVs, weaving together a brand-new vision of what a world could be. This is Utopian Speculative Fiction—a story of rigorous hope, positive outlooks, and the realization that no individuum walks the path alone.
